Proterra Group on behalf of Southern Downs Regional Council engaged HARO Civil Engineering for civil design consultation for a planned upgrade of Yangan Waste Facility. The upgrade is comprised of an initial stage which includes the installation of a covered waste transfer bin facility and gravel pad for manoeuvring, and an ultimate layout which includes reconstruction of waste storage/transfer pads and re-configuration of internal roads to suit.

Proterra Group have a longstanding relationship with Haro Civil Engineering, and we were able to find an ad-hoc delivery arrangement which satisfied both parties. Haro conducted swept path analysis utilising VPATH which ensures that the relevant vehicles will be able to navigate the new and ultimate layout in a safe and efficient manner. Haro was also able to work with the Project Manager and Waste Facility Manager to turn their vision and requirements into legible construction plans.

Haro was able to deliver safe and efficient infrastructure plans utilisation a customised arrangement which suited their budget and delivery requirements.
